Musée Bourdelle

Antoine Bourdelle — Rodin's assistant, teacher to Giacometti — lived, taught and cast bronze on this Montparnasse plot until 1929, and the studios, apartment and two sculpture gardens survive almost untouched. The plaster hall lines up his monumental casts, 'Herakles the Archer' among them.

Long-running

The two gardens and the great glass studio are free; the plaster-cast hall, not the bronzes, is the room people remember.
